Which grant is right for your development project?
1. Development Grant
Funding: up to €35,000
Who can apply: Small and medium-sized companies registered in the Estonian Commercial Register.
Suitable for: Developing an innovative product, service or technology, including prototyping, technological development, testing and feasibility studies.
Service provider: Trinidad Wiseman qualifies as an eligible service provider.
Status: Open
2. Product Development Grant
Funding: up to €500,000
Who can apply: Companies registered in the Estonian Commercial Register with average annual sales revenue of at least €200,000 over the previous two financial years.
Suitable for: Developing a new competitive product or service, including purchasing product development services, personnel costs, materials, supplies and the use of equipment.
Status: Open
3. Enterprise Development Programme
Funding: up to €500,000
Who can apply: Companies registered in the Estonian Commercial Register that have been operating for at least two years and employ at least eight full-time employees. The company must also have at least €50,000 in export revenue or average annual sales growth of at least 5% over the previous two years.
Suitable for: Implementing a long-term development plan, including developing the organisation and its processes, products or services, sales and marketing, people, and purchasing the necessary equipment.
Status: Open
4. Business Development Grant
Funding: €100,000–€500,000 per project
Who can apply: Companies registered in the Estonian Commercial Register that meet at least three of the eight qualifying conditions set out in the regulation.
Suitable for: Implementing a comprehensive business development plan, including developing information systems and digital solutions, digitalisation, automation, and the development and implementation of AI and data analytics solutions.
Status: Application round not yet open
5. Digitalisation Roadmap Advisory and Development Grant
Funding: up to €35,000
Who can apply: Estonian companies of any size with average annual sales revenue of at least €200,000 from their main business activity over the previous two financial years.
Suitable for: Carrying out digitalisation, automation and cybersecurity advisory and development activities included in the company’s digitalisation roadmap.
