Roadmap creation process

1. Mapping processes and the current state
Workshops with key stakeholders to build a clear end-to-end view of your current operating processes, systems, and technology setup.

2. Technology and AI audit
A structured review of the software in use, integrations, data flows, and automation readiness across the full process.

3. Opportunity analysis
We identify the main improvement areas and assess which AI and technology solutions would create the greatest business value.

4. Roadmap development
An implementation roadmap is created, including estimated effort, investment needs, and expected impact, so the next decisions are easier and more confident to make.

Who this approach is best suited for

This approach is best suited to companies with complex or high-volume processes, multiple systems, and a need to make well-founded technology investment decisions. The roadmap is especially valuable for: manufacturing companies, wholesale and trading businesses, organisations with process-heavy operations that rely on multiple systems, companies that are growing with limited IT resources, business and technology leaders preparing for digital investments.

EIS funding for roadmap development

If eligible, the EIS Digitalisation Roadmap Grant can be used to support the development of an AI and technology roadmap. The maximum grant for preparing the roadmap is €10,000, and up to €35,000 may be available for follow-up consulting and development activities based on the roadmap. Eligibility and funding terms depend on EIS’s official requirements.
